We first would like to thank you for your support each and every year towards this amazing cause. You’re donations every year help us reach a broader goal for our local Northern Nevada Patients. In the 10 years you have helped raise over $200k! Thank you for helping us with this great accomplishment.
Now it is time once again for the Bunko for Breast Cancer event. The eleventh annual “roll the dice in the fight against breast cancer” event will be held October 11, 2014 at the Carson Valley Inn beginning at 5:00 p.m. We chose a superhero theme this year as it describes our sponsors as well as our survivors.
Bunko for Breast Cancer is a fundraiser for the Carson-Tahoe Hospital Cancer Services, a services provider for individuals who live in the Northern Nevada area. Specifically, 100% of the proceeds go toward:

Purchasing prosthetic camisoles and robes for breast cancer survivors and,

Providing funds for weekend retreats sponsored by Casting For Recovery®, a national non-profit support and education program for women who have or have had breast cancer. Casting for Recovery provides the opportunity for breast cancer survivors to learn the sport of fly-fishing as a means to promote healing, mentally and physically, specifically tailored to the individual.
Bunko for Breast Cancer utilizes two means to raise money. One is a silent auction held during the evening (if you can call Bunko silent!) and the other is a corporate sponsorship of a game table(s), which spotlights and advertises your company on a table throughout the evening. This is where we need your help. Please consider donating an item or service to be auctioned during the evening or sponsoring a table. In exchange for your donation, we will advertise your business throughout the evening, and you will have the satisfaction of knowing you helped someone in our area. All proceeds from the tables and the auction will go directly to Carson-Tahoe Hospital Cancer Services. Last year, over $12,000 was raised for the benefit of women (& men) in Northern Nevada living with breast cancer.
With your help this year, we can reach a new goal and, more importantly, continue to raise awareness in the fight against breast cancer. Your generosity will go to helping those in our community who really need our support.
